Hutchinson Community College sophomore pitcher Maryssa Rollin authored two complete games and made two one-inning relief appearances in a 4-0 week for the Blue Dragons and was named the Jayhawk Conference Pitcher of the Week for action last week.

For the week in four appearances, Rollin was 2-0 with a 0.87 earned-run average. She had just nine strikeouts in 16 total innings of work, but only two walks allowed. She threw complete games against Barton and Garden City.

Rollin also was huge at the plate with four multi-hit and four multi-RBI games in a 4-0 week for the Blue Dragons. Rollin hit .600 (9 for 15) with a home run and two doubles. She had one two-RBI game, two three-run RBI games and a weekly high of four RBIs. Rollin slugged .933 as the Blue Dragons swept Barton and Garden City.

For the season in the pitching circle, Rollin was 8-1 with one save and a 3.15 earned-run average. She had 48 strikeouts in 51 innings.

Offensively, Rollin was hitting .481 (39 for 81) with seven home runs and 43 RBIs. Rollin had an .802 slugging percentage.

Rollin was the fifth different Blue Dragon to earn conference Player of the Week honors. Isabel McCarty was Player of the Week and Jordan Galliher was Pitcher of the Week in Week 1. Taylor Ullery was Player of the Week in Week 3 and Lexi Williams was Player of the Week in Week 5.
