For the second time this season, Hutchinson Community College women's basketball sophomore guard has been named the Jayhawk Conference Women's Division I Player of the Week.

The sophomore from Baldwin City averaged 21.0 points while shooting 76.1 percent for the No. 8 Blue Dragon women in victories over Dodge City and Colby last week.

Against Dodge City, Ogle was strapped with two early fouls and saw limited playing time. She then exploded for 13 of her 15 points in the game in the third quarter alone. She added five rebounds and a couple of steals.

Ogle then scored 22 of her game-high 25 in the first two quarters, going 9 of 10 from the field in a victory over Colby.

Ogle is currently the second-leading scorer in the Jayhawk Conference at 16.3 points per game. She is fourth in the NJCAA in steals at 4.1 steals per game. Ogle has scored in double figures in 12 consecutive games for the No. 8 Blue Dragons this season.

Ogle was also honored by the KJCCC on January 7 as the conference player of the week. She went on to also win NJCAA National Player of the Week honors.

Hutchinson plays host to Barton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Sports Arena.
