Because of weekend rains and the potential for more rain on Sunday, the Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team's Region 6 Tournament opener against Dodge City has been moved to Don Michael Field from the Salthawk Soccer Complex.
Don Michael Field is located on the southeast corner of 17th and Severance in Hutchinson. Fan parking is located on the south side of 17th Avenue. The only fan entrance to Don Michael Field is on the north side of the complex with fan seating on the west side of the field.

The game was moved from the Salthawk Soccer Complex because of more than 2 inches of rain that has already fallen in Hutchinson this weekend with small potential of more Sunday afternoon. Don Michael Field is an artificial turf field.
The Blue Dragons (9-2-6) are the No. 3 seed for the 2024 Region 6 Tournament. Dodge City (4-9-4) is the No. 6 seed. The winner of Sunday's matchup will play at No. 2 seed Butler on Thursday. Butler won its opening-round match 4-0 over Seward County on Friday.
Hutchinson is unbeaten in its last eight games, going 5-0-3. The Blue Dragons closed the season with two key draws, 1-1 at No. 7 Kansas City and 3-3 against No. 19 Cowley.
The Dragons swept the regular-season series with Dodge City, defeating the Conquistadors 3-0 at home on September 4 and winning at Dodge City 2-0 on October 5.
The Hutchinson-Dodge City first-round game is the last opening-round game to be played. No. 1-seed Kansas City defeated Garden City 4-0 and No. 4 seed Cowley topped Barton 4-1. The semifinals will be Thursday at the highest-remaining seeds on each side of the bracket.
